This is a most unusual pillbox build covering a road that runs up from the beach towards Fort Pembroke. It is made from local stone and has a concrete roof. The front is two joined ‘V’ shaped extensions with a loophole at the end of each V.
This is a very basic structure and tall enough to stand upright inside. It is assumed that this would have been protected with earth when in use. The original entrance, which is now bricked up, was in the centre of the rear face.
