Beach Defence Post Z2 is an early period machine gun pillbox built on the shore edge, adjacent to Wied is-Zurrieq. The pillbox is semi-circular in shape with a central observation turret. There are four machine gun loopholes, with concrete tables and benches inside for the crew.
