Beach Defence Post GT2 is located adjacent to the Knight’s Ghajin Tuffieha Tower. During World War 2 most of the old Knight’s watch towers were incorporated into the defence scheme.
This location has a a beach defence post with Lyon Light and a gun emplacement that would appear to be a 12-pdr Quick Fire from the holdfast. It is believed that the gun emplacement, cut out of rock, would have been further protected by sandbags.
It appears there may have been an extension to the front of the surviving pillbox.
