Beach Defence Post D3 is a single level rectangular pillbox on the cliff edge on the East side of the Delamare Peninsular. The pillbox is adjacent to a Defence Electric Light, which may date from an earlier period. The Defence Post does not appear to have any tower, but some of the original loopholes have survived. The Defence Post is now used as a holiday residence.
