Beaucette Battery was built at the end of the 18th Century to cover the Northern approaches to Peter Port. It initially mounted two 18-pdr SB guns, but this was upgraded to two 24-pdr SB guns by 1816. It had a stone magazine which has now been lost.
Beaucette Battery is believed to have been in used until the 1870s.
