Ouvrage E on the Orangea Defence Lines is also known as the Le Fort du Mamelon Vert. Built in 1902 this Ouvrge is built on similar to most of the other with an external counterscarp wall and dry ditch. Inside the fortification there is a parapet wall, with three Hotchkiss Machine Gun positions. There is a singe magazine and one Casemate de Bourges mounting two 95 mm guns.
