Zejtun Observation Post is a square concrete structure, clad in local stone, built on the roof top of an old farm building. The small position has three narrow slits for observation, facing in all directions. It is assumed that this observation position was a Fortress Observation Post although it may well have doubled as a fire watch location. There is no indication that this was intended to be a fighting position as the observation slits are all narrow and unsuitable to firing through.
