This is the middle gun of the three 9.2-inch guns mounted at Scala Battery. Scala B gun is of a more modern design than the original Scala C gun emplacement. The three guns making up Scala Battery cover a frontage of over 600 metres, roughly 300 metres between each of the guns. This battery is located at about 180 metres above sea level.
