The Command Post at Minden’s Point is situated immediately above the battery and gives clear views out of the sea. The Minden’s Hill Battery with its; two emplacements has it own designated Direction Finding Positions. It is thought that this position was more of a Fortress Command post to co-ordinate the fire from the various batteries. The current Command Post would appear to date from World War 2.
There is a wooden hoarding in front of the Command Post which would appear to have been used as a notice board.
