The Brennan Torpedo Observation Station for the Brenan Torpedo located at Fort Albert was initially a temporary position where Cliff End Battery now stands. A permanent position for the Brennan Torpedo Observation Station was established before 1893 (see TNA WO 78/4249). This position survives intact, although the roof over the observation slit has partially collapsed. As far as we are aware this is the only complete Brennan Torpedo Observation Station that survives almost intact.
Fort Albert Brennan Observation Station is built just outside Cliff End Battery and adjacent to Round Tower Position Finding Station.
