Posted on April 25, 2022 / 2
Listing Type : Coastal Battery
Location : England

The Royal Navy Reserve Battery is believed to have been built about 1860, probably for Drill purposes.  It was therefore probably a practice battery.  It is not know what guns were in this battery for practice purposes.  A drill shed stood behind the gun positions.

The battery seems to have be removed about 1914.
