Wied il-Bassasa Defence Post only has the foundations of the post remaining. The upper stones would appear to have been removed for wall building in the adjacent fields. There is a possible corrugate shelter located close to the North.
From what remains of this structure, it is possible that it was built much earlier, possibly at the time as the Wied Znubber Stop Wall.
