This battery was built in 1892 to mount two 6-pdr Quick Fire guns. One of the emplacements has now been destroyed and the area landscaped. This 6-pdr Battery was linked to the moat of Tigne Fort by a tunnel.
An additional three 6-pdr guns were mounted within Fort Tigne itself.
