Support Defence Post L53 is situated on a road junction on the hill above Support Defence Post L52. The Defence Post is built on top of a raised platform to increase its’ area of observation. It is a single storey with loopholes on each of the four faces, three for machine guns. There are loopholes on the corners. There is an observation tower looking out towards the West.
