Support Defence Post L20 lies 20 metres to the front of Zonqor Battery. It is now heavily overgrown and hard to see. This is a single structure Post with tower on the South-West side. Unusually it is dug into the slope, so only the front two loopholes have a field of fire. There is also an extension to the rear of the Defence Post, further limiting its’ view. It is assumed that this was a Command Position, dug in for protection, with clear views over Marsaskala and St Thomas Bay.
