Razzett tal-Logog Tower

Razzett tal-Logog Tower is a two story farm building that has had the roof converted into a fighting position during 1941.  At least five village towers were converted to be defence positions in the event of a airborne assault on Malta.  Each of these towers followed a similar layout with firing positions on each of the corners.  The firing positions were roofed over but the firing aperture was wide and high, not a loophole.  In the longer side of the wall there tended to be a further aperture for rifle and Bren Gun fire.

Razzett tal-Logog Tower is a detached from the main farm house, but has a stone building on the ground floor.  It has embrasures on all corners and a large  one on each of the long sides.  It would appear that almost all of the rooftop is covered with a light concrete roof for protection.  It has not been determines if access was by internal stairs or external iron rings.
