Fort Campbell had three machine gun pillboxes built into the perimeter walls of the battery at a later stage. There were also two Observation Post, one facing North-East and the other South-East. These replaced the earlier defence posts with only two of these surviving.
This pillbox had tables and benches for two guns and their crews.
Adjacent to this pillbox there is a large loophole in the wall allowing for fire down the road towards the East.
