Beach Defence Post MB2 is a complex built to the front of the old Knight’s Fortification, Westreme Battery. The old battery building was used as part of this complex, probably for accommodation. The are four main components:
- A Lyon Light emplacement with underground shelter, possibly for the generator
- An East facing pillbox which has been partially destroyed
- A West facing pillbox with two MG loopholes and an observation slit
- A tunnel that runs between the two pillboxes, but this does not appear to connect to the Lyon Light
