Beach Defence Post J2 covers part of Gneja Bay. It is an earlier period pillbox with stone cladding and a small observation turret. There is a Lyon Light emplacement immediately to the front. There is also a small infantry position cut into the rock in front of the pillbox.
The Pillbox has now been refurbished as a holiday home.
