The Searchlight Directing Station is located adjacent to an old Position Finding Cell and the Battery Command Post. The Directing Station survives, while all that remains of the Position Finding Cell only had the three concrete legs of the plotting table surviving. There is an semi-circular indent in the ramparts in front of the cell. The Battery Command Post retains the Direction Range Finder pedestal. observer. These features are some 50 metres to the South of the 6-inch BL gun position at Upper Battery.
