Ouvrage C, on the Cap Diego Line is also know as Fort du Cap Bivouac. Built between 1902 and 1904 this Ouvrage had a brick faced ditch around the perimeter. Within the Fort du Cap Bivouac there was a single Casemate de Bourges with two 95 mm guns that covered the ground westwards towards Ouvrages A and B. There was also a single concrete magazine which was of cut and cover construction. A half company of troops with two machine guns were assigned to protect the Ouvrage.
