DEL de la Baie des Dunes

The Defence Electric Light Emplacement de la Baie des Dunes includes a substantial emplacement for the 90 cm light, engine room and crew shelter. Built in 1902 this is a substantial structure. There is also a damaged Defence Electric Light Directing Station adjacent to the position. The electric light could be withdrawn to the rear down a wide concrete trench during daylight hours or if under direct fire.
