Tombstone Battery mounted a single 7-inch RML, with its’ own cartridge and shell magazines. The gun remains in the pit, but one of the magazines has been backfilled. There are plans to clear this and fit it out as per 1870 appearance. A volunteer is preparing all the fittings (2022).

On a small hillock to the rear of Tombstone Battery there is position used during World War 2. It is believed that this originally mounted a Bofors anti-aircraft gun and later a UP Rocket Launcher.
